Lo que yo puedo hacer es...

Beware!  Teens are spending an astounding 9 hours a day in front of screens - not including school or homework time!  Check out this  video  about the study. Technology is an amazingly awesome resource but it is also incredibly addictive!  Use your time on this Earth wisely.  Put the technology to good use by allowing it to help you to be more successful instead of letting it be your downfall! 3-2-1. . . TIME OUT!  The start of the second quarter is a great opportunity to take a short time out and assess your progress in Spanish class.  It's expected that you will make mistakes when you try something new but how hard are you TRYING??? Also, do you still see the benefits of studying Spanish?? ​Is the class what you expected it would be like this year?  What do you like?  What would you like to change?  Are you proud of your progress so far?  What have you done well?  What have you struggled with? ...

El día de acción de gracias

T hanksgiving or "el día de acción de gracias" is only celebrated in the United States, Canada and a few other areas of the world.  This holiday is not celebrated in any of the Spanish speaking countries but many people from these countries live in the United States making everyone's Thanksgiving dinner culturally unique!  Do you include any unique cultural dishes at your own Thanksgiving dinner?  Personally, I am very thankful that we have Thanksgiving in the United States and that this day often causes us to pause and to recognize why we are thankful and to celebrate our own heritage. Take a moment to describe what you are thankful for in English with at least the beginning of the sentence IN SPANISH.  For Thanksgiving, you can describe where you might go, some of the food you might eat, some things you might do over the weekend with at least some of the words in Spanish.  Estoy agradecida por  el día de acción de gracias, mi familia, mis amig...
